A sweet, tug-at-the-heartstrings animation with a zippy jazz backing track. There’s not a single line of dialogue, yet a whole tale of family and love is told in one neat package. Honestly, we're so cool about having our photo taken ... once the photographer works through our five layers of awkwardness 😂⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We actually had a blast with the lovely photographer Penny from Leader Community News at our photo shoot, which took place at the home of our film festival's venue, the beautiful McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday night! (We'll try to leave the awkwardness at home but no promises 😉)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Sarah and Jasmine⁣⁣ 🎥
The tone is set right from the start in this superb horror film. Perhaps it’s the completely ordinary suburban setting of a supermarket that makes it so creepy – kill the lights on a scene we all know and can relate to and, voila! Instant spookiness! Maybe it’s just us, but we’d also classify this film as a black comedy (which might just be our way of excusing the fact that we laughed when we shouldn’t have 😉)⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Films submitted to Stellar are by invitation only, and must have won at least one award at an Australian short film festival over the past year.
