Vale Stanislav Milota, Czech cinematographer known for his short documentaries and collaboration with Juraj Herz on The Cremator (Spalovač mrtvol, CaSFFA 2017). In 2016 Milota was awarded a Czech Lion for his unique contribution to film.

3MBS Fine Music - Melbourne is hosting a marathon event featuring Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.This one day, six concert event will be held at the Melbourne Recital Center on Feb 24.

The Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia is sad to hear of the passing of Czech filmmaker Václav Vorlíček.
A FAMU graduate, Vorlíček will be known to CaSFFA audiences through his films Tři oříšky pro Popelku (Three Wishes for Cinderella) and Kdo chce zabít Jessii? (Who wants to kill Jessie?).
