We are on! We are super excited to announce this morning that due to the easing of restrictions, CinefestOZ will be able to host live events in the South West from 25-30 August as part of a modified festival. This means we will be the first Australian film festival to open our doors to real cinema audiences since the COVID-19 pandemic. The full festival program will be announced on 31 July and incorporate at least 40 live events and screenings along with a selection of online screenings for those who sadly can’t join us this year. Stay tuned for another exciting announcement next week!
💥The Cinesnaps Student Short Film Masterclass is now LIVE! 💥 Presented by Myles Pollard, this unique online workshop will take secondary students' filmmaking skills to the next level 😎💯 Book your spot in the Masterclass and stay tuned for other Cinesnaps online offerings. And why not think about entering the Cinesnaps student short film competition - entries close 30 June 📲🎥
With #NationalVolunteerWeek coming to a close, we thank Rio Tinto for their ongoing support for the Movie Crew volunteer program. In 2019 alone, CinefestOZ had over 350 Movie Crew and interns volunteer their time and hard work to make the festival truly magical. We want to say #thanks to Rio Tinto for helping to make these programs possible and for supporting our volunteers.
It's #NationalVolunteerWeek and we are taking this time to thank all of our wonderful volunteers for their involvement and help at CinefestOZ ❣️✨ "My favourite moment while being Movie Crew is working with the fellow Movie Crew squad and helping produce an amazing event for the South West of WA," "I love meeting the stars and watching the amazing Australian films throughout the festival." - Reneé Morrison (right) #riotinto #thanks #moviecrew City of Busselton - Local Government
