GOOD NEWS for any of you who might be thinking twice about coming out to A Night of Horror International Film Festival due to COVID-19: not only is our venue at Actors Centre Australia a registered COVID-Safe business, but thanks to our sponsors Deadhouse, ticket holders will receive a free reusable, filtered facemask for use throughout the festival and beyond. These will go to the first hundred or so people through the doors at the venue, available while stocks last!

Coming on board as supporters of the festival is Chicken and Chips Casting.

Often considered the actors’ casting directors, Alison Fowler and Stephanie Pringle are reigniting the craft of casting in Australia. They understand the actor's process and provide a relaxed and nurturing audition environment to bring out the best performance in a collaborative way. Their mission is to inspire directors and producers to become more engaged with the casting process.

Al and Steph are constantly evolving, discovering new techniques and ways of casting via online platforms and their commitment to their craft earned them B&T's 30 under 30 Award in 2018; the first Casting Directors to do so.

Chicken & Chips are also proud members of the Casting Guild of Australia and part of the Guild’s Diversity Committee advocating for representation and diversity in casting.

Their recently wrapped film & TV credits include Australian pioneer film The Flood directed by Victoria Wharfe McIntyre, Ellie & Abbie (and Ellie’s Dead Aunt) directed by Monica Zanetti (the first Aussie film to open the Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival in it's 27 year history), the Deadhouse Dark anthology series created by Enzo Tedeschi, Blood Sisters directed by Madeleine Dyer, Chlorine directed by Melissa Anastasi and Deluge directed by Cloudy Rhodes - both of the latter having premiered at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival.
