Blue Heeler Film Festival
‘The Blue Heeler Film Festival,’organised by Muswellbrook Shire Council and
sponsored by Bengalla, is coming back to Muswellbrook for its ninth year. Film
submissions are FREE and now open!
The finalist screenings and awards night will showcase the incredible talents of short filmmakers nationwide and will be followed by a family friendly public screening of the films at Simpson Park in Muswellbrook on Sunday.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Working Dog’ in the context of a dog used to perform practical tasks as opposed to pets. The theme can be interpreted as conceptually as filmmakers see fit. Entries are open to films of any genre that run no longer than seven minutes.
With two categories, the Blue Heeler Film Festival encourages film makers, emerging and
experienced, to enter.
Categories:
Secondary School – Entries of filmmakers aged 14-18 years
Open Category – Entries of filmmakers aged 18 years and over
Any school interested in holding a free zoom workshop, please email:
