tilde wholeheartedly supports the Black Lives Matter movement abroad and in Australia. We stand in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities who face disproportionate injustice, oppression and systemic racism in this country.

All marginalised communities know first-hand the detrimental effects of systemic oppression and must stand together against all injustices.

In honour of this movement, tilde is pleased to announce our second online event – a July PJ Party – where 100% of the profits made from ticket sales will go towards a local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander charity organisation. It's National Volunteer Week, a great op. for tilde to take a moment to acknowledge we owe our existence to the time, energy and passion devoted by years of volunteers.

tilde volunteers frequently come from areas of the community that society already asks a lot of, so their contributions are all the more generous and appreciated.

From the team assembling the festival to those running it on the night, everything tilde has achieved is thanks in some way to their donations!

tldr: THANKS VOLLIES!!!
