We're excited for this film at Antenna International Documentary Film Festival... In 1973, an album by an 11 year-old salsa singer was played by every radio station in Colombia and Puerto Rico. Discovered by renowned New York record producer Harvey Averne, Miguelito’s early success rescued him from poverty, but his subsequent disappearance and his only album became an obsession for Australian filmmaker Sam Zubrycki who goes in search of the salsero in this upbeat road trip through Latin America. A film to melt the heart! 'Los Reyes’ is named after a skatepark in Santiago De Chile that is home to Football and Chola, two adorable dogs who keep a bemused eye on the park’s goings-on. Through their eyes and ears, we get to know the flow of life in the park, and the humans who frequent it. SLAFF are happy to be co-presenting the film at Antenna International Documentary Film Festival this October. Book here: https://bit.ly/2kKshiz
