In conjunction with Campbelltown Arts Centre #TheVeiqiaProject and The Coconet TV, Pasifika Film Fest is bringing you 2 screenings of 'Marks of Mana', directed by Lisa Taouma."'Marks of Mana' looks at the art of tattooing from a female perspective. In this hour long documentary we explore the origins of tatau symbolism for women in the Pacific and how these special marks have a particular mana in their design and execution as they are gifted to the wearer."We are also excited to announce the filmmaker Lisa Taouma will be attending the screenings to answer any questions you might have!We will be showing the film at Campbelltown Arts Centre at 11am, Saturday 28 September at Bankstown Hoyts at 6pm (for 6.40pm start), Saturday 28 September in quick tickets are limited!
