After the success of the inaugural Melbourne International Youth Film Festival, MIYFF is very proud to announce a collaboration with the Melbourne Queer Film Festival in 2020!

If you’re a young, ambitious and creative filmmaker, then we want your short film! We are looking for films catering towards and celebrating queer voices and content, as well as being appealing to a queer audience.

To commemorate the 30th birthday of MQFF we are looking for films 30 minutes or under, by filmmakers who are 30 or under.

MIYFF will showcase films of all genres. Our aim is to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQI+ community. No matter the concept, if you have something to say, we are all ears!

Submissions are now open and close on December 15th 2019 at 9:00 am (AEST).
So, what are you waiting for?
